The Finger Lakes Workforce Investment Board is seeking a dynamic leader to become its next Executive Director.
We are looking for an individual with expertise in Federal, New York State and local labor regulations, especially those pertaining to the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.
Qualified candidates should possess:
5+ years of experience in Workforce and/or Economic Development or Human Services.
Proven leadership, management and organizational skills.
Hands-on strategic planning and execution experience.
Comprehensive experience working in a Board-driven setting.
Well-established financial and contract administration skills.
Understanding of local and state workforce challenges.
Initiate and maintain partnerships in for-profit, non-profit and government sectors.
Ability to transform workforce metrics into actionable goals.
Excellent communication, presentation, writing and verbal skills.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is desirable.
Must live in or be willing to move to the 4 county area consisting of Ontario, Seneca, Wayne and Yates counties.
